Message from Fr. Mark

I am very grateful to all who have contributed to St. Francis over the years, allowing us to build up a healthy cash reserve allowing us to maintain our beautiful campus as needs arise. This fall we completed a major repair to our 29 year-old roof over the main church. Thankfully we were able to have the work done and pay cash from our cash reserves without incurring additional financing costs. For this year’s Christmas/Special Year End Gift, I am asking you to contribute to our Building Fund to replace our cash reserves. I would like to suggest that if you normally give: $1000.00+/year, you consider a gift of $500.00; $500.00+/year, a gift of $250.00; $100.00+/year, a gift of $50.00. Please prayerfully consider what you can afford to give for the continued maintenance of your spiritual home. A generous gift to our Christmas Collection or a Special Year End Gift will greatly assist our parish ministries, programs and building fund and will also positively affect your taxes and other financial considerations for 2017. In the spirit of Christmas and gift giving, please consider St. Francis and our mission to proclaim the Gospel, provide ministries and serve the broader community. We also welcome other forms of charitable giving. If you plan to donate stock, please contact our new Office Manager Julie Terwey as soon as possible to ensure that you get credit for the gift in the year 2017.
